Dawn Silver

On October 9, 2023, a terrible tragedy occurred to our dear friend Dawn Silver. That evening her husband horrifically and unexpectedly gunned her down with intent on killing her then turned the gun on himself. She was struck twice by bullets, causing her to fight for her life in a local trauma center. Amazingly and by the grace of God she has survived the attempted murder and has spent over 1 month in the ICU undergoing multiple surgeries.

She has recently returned home to face the daunting task of putting the pieces of her life back together while still physically recovering and knowing more surgeries will be scheduled in the near future.

Anyone who knows Dawn know she is an incredibly dedicated hard worker and always worked in the service/care for others industry. Now is our time to care for her. She returned home from the hospital, now a single mother, to a mountain of bills and the inability to work, or even manage simple daily tasks without assistance. Dawn will have the challenge of navigating her new life including years of counseling regarding the PTSD of attempted murder. A life disrupted and forever changed.
