Dawn Otis and family

I’m a friend and coworker of Dawn’s and I’ve set up this GoFundMe account to help with the inevitable medical expenses and just take some of the financial stress off of Dawn and her family as they tackle this journey. As many of you know, Dawn beat DCIS breast cancer last year. She had a check up last spring and was doing well, thought she was cancer free. Over the past month, she started feeling poorly and developed some pain in her knees, back and shoulder. She was found to have multiple lesions in her brain and throughout her skeletal system that are concerning for metastatic breast cancer. She has already undergone surgery to stabilize her knee and shoulder, and there are still a lot of unknowns and likely a very long road ahead. Dawn is so strong and is staying very positive, and she needs all the love and support we can give her! I want her to be able to focus on her health and her family and not stress about finances!
