Dawn Needs a Van!
Donation protected
Dear Friends,
We are reaching out to you on behalf of Dawn Beale, a brave and resilient woman who has faced countless challenges throughout her life. Dawn was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis at the age of two, and her health struggles have only continued from there. She also suffers from Congestive Heart Failure, kidney issues, an emergency splenectomy, and has broken her femur due to brittle bones.
Despite all these hardships, Dawn has remained positive, fun-loving, and committed to giving back to her community. She has volunteered at our local food pantry for sixteen years, and even during the pandemic, she made lunch for her fellow volunteers every week. However, her van, which she uses for grocery shopping, volunteering, and getting to her many doctor's appointments in Pittsburgh, is now 17 years old and will no longer pass inspection due to nonworking blinkers, the dash not working, broken tie rods, and a massive hole that has rusted through the floor. She needs a new, reliable, and accessible van to continue living her life independently.
Dawn is not asking for a brand-new van, but she does need a reliable one that will last for the foreseeable future. The cost of a new modified van is around $70,000, and she cannot afford it on her own.
We are asking for your help to raise funds for Dawn's new van. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help her get closer to her goal. Dawn has given so much to her community, and now it's our turn to support her.
Please consider donating to this cause and making a difference in Dawn's life. Any help you can offer is sincerely appreciated. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
Sincerely,
