Hi, I’m Samantha Mixon, raising funds for a long-time friend battling stage 3 breast cancer, Dawn Nagele. When times got tough for me she was always there.

She has not been able to work and she needs our help. She is the strongest person I know, as she continues to battle through this after losing her only son in a car accident and her house burning down a few years ago. She has no one to help her, often driving to and from her own appointments. Her bank account is down to $35. She can’t even afford to eat or get gas at this point. Any little bit helps. I don’t know what to do to help her except this.

She was recently admitted to Henry Piedmont. They did a terrible job and let her walk out septic. I am terribly scared as she is one of my oldest friends. I know times are tough for everyone right now, but any little bit will help.
