I'm sad to report that my precious wife Dawn Lindsay passed away on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021, from COVID/pneumonia. She joined her eternal Bridegroom (Jesus Chris) at 9:49 PM.
She fought the good fight of faith...not only in her marvelous life...but in her tragic struggle and death. Many Dawn has endured some epic battles in recent years. Her brother (Howard Taylor) died in Nov. 2019, her mom (Barbara Taylor) died in Jan. 2020 and her step-dad (Rolly Meyers) died just last month. She has endured so much in the last 2-years. But her graduation to heaven was precluded my a Faith filled commitment that was so consistent with Dawn’s love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Chris, that it’s worth sharing.
Dawn had arrived in Phx on March 13th, 23-days into a 40-day fast where she was seeking GOD’s plans for the rest of her life. She firmly believed that He had promised her a miracle on this trip and that she had to be in Az in March to receive it! She made it 27-days before her body told her it was time to eat and then she was diagnosed with covid 7-days later and passed away only 14-days after, the last 10-days in HonorHealth hospital in Scottsdale.
During her epic 10-day struggle, she received amazing love and support. Dawn was blessed beyond measure but they also kept me going in the fight for her life. Thank you all for that!
Dawn was the best person I've ever known and she earned her Angel Wings and the glory of joining her beloved Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in heaven for eternity. I am so happy she is done with the struggles of this world and I cannot imagine anyone who deserves graduation to heaven more than Dawn!
Our life together (over 40-years) had its ups and downs...however I am blessed by the fact that during our last 3-weeks that we spent together, we had agreed to cancel our divorce and remain "life partners" for the rest of our lives. Neither of us realized it would be so short. She was the love of my life...the mother of my children...and THE one/only wife I will ever have!
She shared with all her friends that God had told her that she had to be in AZ in March to finish her 40-day fast and receive her miracle. I now believe God knew all along that He would be taking her home to be with Him. That was/is her miracle...and it is NOT a coincidence that it happened on Easter Sunday! It is NOT!!!
She in fact did receive the miracle He promised...and that we all prayed for! It was just not the one we wanted but I think it IS the one Dawn wanted...maybe not consciously but somewhere deep in her spirit...where God resides.
Any donations big or small will make a difference to cover funeral and memorial costs and would be greatly appreciated.
God Bless you all and thank you in advance.
