Unfortunately, Dawn is facing rejection from her liver transplant and will now need a second liver transplant. She will remain in the hospital until that happens.

Dawn Lee, educator and tireless advocate for formerly incarcerated people, is currently experiencing complications from her recent liver transplant, resulting in a longer-than-anticipated hospital stay. She is undergoing treatment for liver rejection and related side effects that are keeping her hospitalized. Her recovery is progressing, but the extended healing time brings unexpected financial burdens.
