On September 20, Hurricane Maria made landfall on the island of Puerto Rico. Our friends Dawn, Josue, and their young daughter Lyla live in Naguabo where they are the owner/operators  of Hostel Bahia del Paraiso and Casa  Libre, a hostel and B&B on the coast. Their business, which is their only source of income, is dependent on tourism. With no tourism, and also no power and a devastated infrastructure, they need money to buy food, bottled water, and gas for their generator.
