Dawn Frazier's Fundraiser

Hello, my name is Debbie King; I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of my amazing friend Dawn Frazier, who I have had the pleasure of knowing for over 20 years. Sadly, on 5/24, Dawn arrived home after work to find that her husband, Stan of 33 years had gone to be with the Lord.

Remembering Captain Stan…

Stan was born on March 13, 1952. He met Dawn, the love of his life, when she was just 16 years old. One glance and a smile from this handsome rogue and Dawn was hooked. You could say it was love at first sight. The beautiful couple was to be married on December 5, 1989. They had the pleasure of raising two sons, Joseph and Matthew and was a grandpa of five. Stan worked hard as a plumber and was a good provider for his family until he became disabled ten years ago.

Dawn smiled through the tears as she remembered some of his favorite things. “Stan has a huge collection of remote-control cars and trucks. He would race them down the street for hours…. Stan loved the water. We were at the ocean one time, and he stood out on the rocks and just had the biggest smile. Said if it wouldn’t be for me and the kids, that would be his home. And then he proceeded to call himself Captain Stan”.
