My name is Nadia, and I am a close family friend of Dawn and her beautiful family. It is with a very heavy heart that I write this today, after the heartbreaking passing of Dawn.

Dawn was truly one of the strongest women you could ever meet. She didn’t just fight cancer once, but faced it more than once with courage, grace, and an unshakable determination that inspired everyone around her. No matter how hard things became, Dawn carried herself with strength, love, and hope, always putting her family and friends first.

She was a loving wife, a devoted mother, a wonderful sister, and a cherished friend to so many. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Dawn will know the warmth of her smile, the kindness of her heart, and the way she made every person feel special.

The family would now like to create a memorial in the beautiful garden that Dawn loved so dearly. This will be a place where her loved ones can come together, reflect, and remember her in peace—a lasting tribute to her life, strength, and love.

The funds raised will go towards creating this special space, as well as helping with funeral costs during this incredibly difficult time. Should we be fortunate enough to raise more, any remaining balance will go towards a family holiday—something Dawn and her family had spoken about before this devastating loss, a way of finding some light in the darkness and honouring her memory through shared moments together.
