Dawn’s Battle with Cancer

Dawn has always been an amazing mother, friend, and support system for all those in her life. Always giving and helping whomever needs it, she never seems to catch a break.

Recently, she has been diagnosed with cancer for a second time; this go around posing to be more drastic than the initial diagnosis. What started as Uterine Cancer in 2018-2019 has now created cancerous tumors, lesions, and most problematic; an extremely large cancer mass covering most of her abdomen.

Dawn has already missed countless days off of work due to the severe pain, numerous doctor appointments, and testing/scans to diagnosis the cancer yet again. Over the next few months, she will have to miss work off and on due to chemotherapy, radiation, and finally a very intrusive surgery to remove the stomach mass.

The hopes are to raise enough money to cover her out of pocket costs ($6,300) after insurance for 2023 and 2024 as her treatment will continue through next year. A portion of what is raised will be used for her travel to and from Eugene for all of her chemotherapy and radiation treatments, as well as covering her Eugene stay for surgery. Whatever not used for out of pocket costs and travel will be used to supplement her bills/expenses as she battles through this harsh part of life.

All donations and spreading of the news is well appreciated, as Dawn is just trying to make ends meet with little to no stress and enjoy her time being a grandma.
