We are all heartbroken by the news of the passing of Davis Cooper, who died in a tragic accident last night at 18.

If you had ever met Davis, his passion oozed out of him. He was a warrior in life as he passionately pursued the joys of football and academics at Grinnell College. His desire to be recognized as a Freshman All-American in football was lofty, but all his aspirations were. He truly inspired all those he came in contact with.

Above all else, he was a follower of Jesus, and we know Davis is in the arms of his Savior.

While the hope of this knowledge lifts us, the sting of death is painful for all of us who loved him dearly.

Davis is survived by his parents Darin and Beverly, and his best friend and younger brother, Eliott. They need our prayers and our financial support in this challenging time.
