Davina is more than just a friend to me—she is family. For years, she has been the kind of person who shows up without hesitation, who gives without asking, and who stands by the people she loves no matter what. Now, she’s facing one of the hardest battles of her life, and she shouldn’t have to face it alone.

On December 12, Davina’s world shifted when she was told her mammogram was abnormal. What followed were weeks filled with fear, waiting, and endless appointments. On February 3, an ultrasound revealed a mass. A biopsy on February 12 confirmed what no one ever wants to hear, and on February 16, she was diagnosed with Triple Positive Invasive Ductal Carcinoma...breast cancer.

Since then, her life has been consumed by doctor visits, tests, and difficult conversations. There was a small sense of relief when doctors confirmed the cancer had not spread beyond her breast, but the road ahead is still long and overwhelming.

On April 2, Davina will undergo a lumpectomy to remove the tumor and surrounding tissue. Shortly after, in May, she will begin chemotherapy...a physically and emotionally exhausting journey that will take everything she has.

While she prepares to fight for her health, the financial burden continues to grow. Even with insurance, her medical bills have already reached nearly $7,000. With surgery and chemotherapy ahead, those costs are expected to rise beyond $20,000.

Davina has spent her life being there for others. Now it’s our turn to be there for her.
