Hi my name is Dávila J-P and I am a low income first generation Mexican-American Trans femme from San Diego needing community support for my gender affirming surgeries. I am starting this fundraiser on my birthday month in the hopes of securing enough funds to proceed with my surgeries planned for next spring, as I am currently waitlisted for one of my bottom surgeries. This fund will also support me as I take the necessary time to heal and rest my body. I am consistently misgendered at home in Mexico and it’s been affecting my mental health and well-being. These surgeries will allow for my outer shell to match my inner being and ultimately save my life.
