It is with profound sadness that we rename this fund The David & Kathy Ramirez Memorial Fund. Dave's wonderful and inspiring wife, Kathy (Conner) Ramirez passed away after fighting a long and incredibly courageous battle with cancer. Kathy amazed all who knew her with her unparalleled spirit and strength. She has left an indelible impression on everyone who had the honor of knowing her.
So today, it is with great humility and respect, that I ask you once again to offer your support to Dave and Kathy's precious legacy, their children Emily and John. I requested of Kathy, and was granted, the honor of being the custodian of a small nest egg that will assist Emily and John in the rights of passage into and throughout young adulthood.
Your continued support of our childhood friend, David, his amazing wife Kathy, and their special children will be forever apreciated.
(More information on Kathy to follow once the family makes it available)

David William Ramirez, the son of William “Memo” Ramirez and Lucille “Cookie” Ramirez, was born in San Pedro, California on January 12, 1969 and passed away in Whittier, California on May 29th at the age of 47.
David graduated from Holy Trinity Elementary School and Mary Star of the Sea High School in San Pedro and then attended the University of San Diego. David had a career as a carpenter for more than 30 years and his craftsmanship can be seen in homes all along the West Coast.
David leaves behind his cherished wife, Kathy and two beautiful children, Emily and John. Please assist in providing a more certain future for Emily and John as David would have had he not been called back to God. Your gift will be held in trust until Emily and John are young adults and will provide them with needed support as they start their lives and families.
Your generosity is most appreciated.
