Hi everyone — I wanted to share something really special with you about my son, David.

David started karate when he was just 5 years old. Over the years, I’ve watched him grow not only as an athlete but as a disciplined, kind, and determined young man. At 12, he earned his black belt, and now at 15, he's accomplishing things that are truly beyond what I could have imagined.

Just this past weekend, David competed at the 2025 USA Karate Nationals in Fort Worth, Texas, in the 14–15 year-old, -57kg Kumite division. Out of 12 talented competitors, he placed as the #2 seed for Team USA after fighting his heart out in a tough double elimination bracket. Even with a knee injury, he pushed through with courage and focus — because that's just who he is.

Now, David has been selected to represent the United States at the Junior Panamerican Karate Federation Championships in Paraguay this year!

We’re beyond proud of him, and we’re getting ready to support this next chapter in his journey.
