David's Journey: Overcoming a Tumor
Donation protected
On March 2, 2025, our lives got a little different. David (27) was working like any typical Sunday when, around noon, we received a phone call that David was transported to McLeod. David's coworkers found him lying on the ground having an active seizure. Our initial thought was that he possibly had a brain bleed from hitting the concrete floor, but the news we got was way worse. They found a brain tumor (5.7 cm by 5.7 cm), which is a pretty significant size. He was admitted for further testing. After determining the OR was booked for the week, they decided to discharge him on Monday, March 3, 2025, with a follow-up appointment to schedule surgery. Two weeks later, we went to the appointment. The doctor wanted to send him for another CT scan and another MRI and schedule surgery for Monday, March 31, 2025. The new MRI showed the tumor at 6.0 cm by 6.1 cm. As of his last appointment, he will need to be out of work for 4-6 weeks minimum. As with any surgery, you never know what can happen and what kind of deficits he will endure. We are asking for help to pay David's bills in this time of need and prayers. All funds will go straight to my parents to pay any out of pocket needs, David's bills and medical expenses.
