I’m a proud father of two—a 3-month-old little boy and a 3-year-old little girl—and a loving husband. I’m also the only provider for my family. Sadly, I recently suffered a gunshot wound to my thigh, with the bullet lodging itself just two inches away from major arteries. I had to get life flighted by helicopter to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN. While I feel very blessed to still be here today, I am unfortunately uninsured. I have applied for assistance with my medical bills, but it will not cover everything.
