David’s Getting a Kidney for Christmas

Dearest friends, family and community members,

We have known since 2020 that David will need a kidney transplant. Four days ago, David got a call from his renal surgeon that an anonymous live donor was found. The transplant surgery will happen December 18th at St. Paul’s hospital in Vancouver. It will take David 3 months to recover in Vancouver before returning home to Whitehorse. He will not be able to work during recovery and needs our help to offset some of the costs while he recovers.
