David's Final Farewell Memorial Fund

Hi, I am Corinna Matlock and I have set up this fund to help my sister Veronica Lopez and brother in law David Lopez get through the worst storm of their lives. Veronica and David just lost the second of their two precious boys, David G. Lopez, II, in the early hours of Tuesday, January 24. This is an unfathomable tragedy as the loss of my nephew is sudden and completely unexpected. Those that know our family will likely remember well that Veronica and David lost their first son, Josh, in 2015 and were hopelessly devoted to David, the only child they had left in the seven years that followed. David leaves behind his beautiful bride, Monica, of only one year. I am asking for prayer, and any donation small or large to help the family with my nephew's final expenses. To lose one child is unimaginable. To lose both-- there simply are no words. It is incomprehensible. As you can imagine, Veronica, David, Monica, and the rest of the family are devastated and would very much appreciate help in giving David a proper farewell.

Please search your heart, and if you can; will you consider a donation to the fund and keep the family in your prayers during this difficult time? If we all pitch in even just a few dollars we can help them cover the costs of the funeral and any expenses related. All proceeds will go directly to my sister who will oversee the distribution. There is strength in numbers and where there are many, the load is light. If you can't give a monetary donation, please pray for the family. Both are needed desperately. The funeral and interment will be in Grand Prairie, Texas. I don't have dates or times yet. As soon as plans are finalized, I will update them on social media and this page.
