Update:

David Shinafelt II is back in the hospital to keep an eye on a few things. His blood platelets are very high like in the 1000, they are worried about blood clots , and he has something around his lung..could be fluid could be blood..they don't know.. they are also trying to keep infections down in his incision site. Please keep him in your prayers and thoughts. Thank you

The doctors have decided to keep David at West Florida Hospital at this time. His condition is much more serious than anyone thought. David has been off work for over a week and still has to recover!!

Please help us help David get through this difficult time.

I am setting up this GoFundMe for my nephew David Shinafelt of Milton, FL. He was rushed to the hospital early morning of May 18th. He has a ruptured artery in his stomach which has caused internal bleeding and needing surgery. David is a longtime server at Texas Roadhouse in Milton and also details cars. He is the hardest working man I know and never looks for a handout. But he needs your help monetarily or all the prayers you can send up. David does not have insurance. David has a loving fiancé Connie Tatum who is by his side at West Florida Hospital.
