David’s ADA home conversion

My name is Dan Gronstal. My best friend Dave Christenson had a very bad fall 2 years ago and has been in hospitals and care facilities ever since. I thought I would have to visit him there for the rest of our lives after another visit last November . In December his sister posted “ David Walked” and my heart soared. I flew up to see him and got him out in the daylight. We drove around Carroll county revisiting our old haunts from childhood tru today! I was amazed how sharp he was and determined. By the grace of God and Dave’s tenacity , they estimated his progression may allow him to go home by fall of this year. Myself and some other friends, along with a local contractor will be volunteering our time to make Dave’s house accessible and livable for him. Doorways, steps, kitchen and bathroom all will be addressed . Anything you can help with weather a kind donation for purchase of materials or donating time for construction or both would we would be grateful ! Please help us if you can in our quest to bring Dave home
