This memorial fund was created in honor of David Bartlett Roten, Jr of Denver, Colorado for the continued support of his family. David was born on March 21, 1980 in Memphis and passed on November 27, 2014. David was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all friends and family.

David served in the United States Army as a decorated Special Forces Weapons Sergeant. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal with Valor, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, among others. Since his honorable discharge in 2010, David has been supporting the U.S. Government in austere environments. He was killed in action on November 27th in hostile territory supporting the U.S. Government.
