I am still in need of help!! My son and I are trying to save the home we live in, so we can bring David home . On March 12th David had a medical emergency and was rushed to the hospital. On March 13th something happened while he was in the hospital. He now has brain damage. David has been suffering since. Due to his time in the hospital David developed a bed sore. He went to a nursing home and the wound escalated due to poor care. The infection went to the bone, he went in to septic shock and we almost lost him. He was rushed by ambulance from the nursing home back to the hospital. The hospital he went to saved him and started his road to recovery for his wound. It is horrific he had a servere stage 4 bed sore and had a hole the size of a grapefruit on his lower to upper buttok area. Now it is the size of a tennis ball. David contracted MRSA while in the nursing home. It appears he has partial paralysis. His muscles are contracted and cause him so much pain. The wound is also extremely very painful. He needs a lot of one on one care so I go everyday. David lost his short term memory, the ability to write and so much more. He's been my best friend since I was 18. I hit the wall awhile back but can't stop. David Lipsick.......is a good man with a good heart. I want to bring him home someday. I need help. I have no pride left. David was my caretaker.
We live so frugal now there is no where to cut back. I am in a nightmare . If anyone can help please contact me. There are things I am doing to get financial security but I need help for a few months. For David.......my best friend and myself.This is not something I ever could of imagined happening to David, but it did. I never thought at 66 I would be in so much trouble. I have no pride left just fear and desperation. Please anything will help.
