Hi everyone ,
Two years ago, My father was diagnosed with colon cancer. He underwent surgery and lost the majority of his colon. He was confident he would fight this and win, How could he not? My father was the strongest person I knew, but cancer slowly spread throughout his body. All the rounds of chemo had failed.
- In his mind, he would continue to fight, but his body kept getting weaker and weaker. He was in and out of the hospital, always in pain and in complete discomfort through it all he remained hopeful until the doctors finally gave him six months to live. He shrugged his shoulders and said, “ I’m going home to enjoy my children. “ He did just that.
He put on a brave face, but he was in so much pain. He was getting ready to transition; He told his sister he was prepared to go but wasn't comfortable knowing we would struggle financially with his burial.
On his last day, he struggled to breathe. My sister gently laid her head on his chest and told him we were going to be ok and it was ok for him to go, and as he gasped for air, he took his last breath.
- Writing this is painful, Me and my sister were daddy’s girls we loved that he was himself he never changed. what you see is what you get and he was the funniest person I knew and the fact that he was so sought after and people loved being around him made him so special , He gave us a great childhood as best as he could… thanks daddy for being my first love. I ask friends and family to help us in celebrating 64 years god let us have him . Your donations will help us give him the proper burial to say goodbye so that his spirit can live on forever in Heaven.
ALL donations no matter the amount are very much appreciated, if your also struggling and unable to donate you can help by sharing this post ....Thank you for taking the time to read this .
He is survived by his Eight children Priscilla, Stephanie, David , Michael, Chris, Eddie, Justin, Mello.
