Hello, everyone! As many of you know, I am an independent contractor who works as a hairstylist and a trapeze/fitness instructor. Last week, both of my workplaces were ordered closed by the governor to fight the COVID-19 pandemic with no definite date of reopening. Many of my clients and friends have asked how they might provide me some support during my unemployment, and some suggested I start a GoFundMe campaign to get some financial help until I can safely return to work. I miss all the laughs and sharing of stories while working on clients in my salon chair, and I miss being active and connecting with my peers and students at the trapeze studio, but I know that the best thing for everyone right now is to limit the spread of this virus as much as possible by staying home and avoiding contact. I am looking forward to seeing you all again when this passes (and I suspect that my salon clients are looking forward to seeing me more and more every day the longer this goes on). ;) In the meantime, any help would be greatly appreciated.
