David Willis Jr. Father, Son, Brother & Friend

The goal of this fundraiser to help cover funeral costs and the remainder of the proceeds will go to his children.

David’s life was tragically taken away from his family and friends on December 20, 2022. He was shot multiple times on that day and managed to pull himself into a vehicle and be transported to a nearby hospital. On his way, he called his daughter to let her know he loves her and her three younger siblings. He also called our grandmother to let her know something bad happened. At the hospital he was speaking to doctors as they were trying to help him, and he even tried getting up from the bed he was placed in. David was strong and he fought tooth and nail for his life for over 24hrs. Sadly David lost his battle. His closest family and friends were right there with him as he fought for his life. We filled 3 waiting rooms and kept a continuous rotation of people speaking words of encouragement to David as he laid in that hospital bed on life support. “Keep fighting Dave” is something I kept telling my brother as tears pooled and fell from my eyes. I hate that this happened to him and more importantly his children.
