Hello All!

Without going into too much detail (out of respect for our family's privacy) David Wheeler has been hospitalized for a few months and still has a long fight to recovery. David has been diagnosed with Wegener's Syndrome (an autoimmune disease that attacks the arteries and causes failure of the organs).

We are reaching out to our friends, family and community to help David's family make it through these tough times, as Annette is spending her days with him at the hospital. 

Many of you know David through your work with him as a contractor, through social interactions at the Knot Hole or through other activities like bowling. We are so grateful for the support we have already been given. Please help us allow Annette, Emily and Sophia to not worry about the financial stresses they are enduring, so they can be strong and present for David during his recovery.

If you have any questions, please reach out to David's sisters, Carrie or Cathie, or myself (Jessicca) and we will share what we can. 

We have also set up a bank account at the El Dorado Savings Bank in Pollock Pines under, David Wheeler Family Fund. All proceeds will be given to Annette to help pay for household expenses, food and transportation back and forth from the hospital.
