Hi, my name is Sarah and I’m fundraising for my sister Jessi, her three kids; Anthony, Serena, and Nova, and my sister’s in laws; Theresa and David Jernigan.

My sister has been with her husband-to-be for almost twelve years. David has been through so much in his thirty years. He struggled with addiction and has beat death more times than I can count. He survived. He got clean. He got his CDLs and decided to be the provider for his family. With God’s thanks in hand, David and Jessica bought their first home in 2022 and moved in in 2023. Considering everything they’ve been through, this was HUGE. David worked tirelessly driving for his company and coming home to do daddy-daughter or daddy-son dates with his kids, as well as making special time with his wife and providing their every want and need.

On May 5, 2024, around 3am, David wrecked in his semi and passed away. To say this has been a huge struggle for this family is an understatement. David had been clean for five years and driving a semi for four. He was the perfect husband and father. David is leaving behind his wife-to-be, their three children aged 4-10, his parents, and so many more loved ones.

I'm writing this because I’d like you to consider donating to help my sister with getting him home (he wrecked in Arkansas), his cremation, his service, and to help her and her children get through the next several weeks. This time is the most painful, and I’d like for her to have one less thing to worry about.
