David Walrod

The purpose of this “Go Fund Me” page is to assist the family of our beloved friend David Walrod, who passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 14th, 2019. Beloved husband of Lynne Walrod. He is survived by his parents, David and Judy Walrod and his brothers, Bryant (Norah), Marc (Kim) and Lynne‘s parents, Robert and Katherine Fagan. He was a brother-in-law to Regina Creen and Liz Fagan. He was a loving uncle to Jacob, Caitlyn, Brandon, Melanie, Scarlett and Izzie. He has been with us as the Managing Director and Head of Equity Research since 2017. David was highly respected in the Finance community, having worked on both the buy side and sell side with firms such as JP Morgan, Ladenburg Thalmann and Ridgeworth Capital. 

More than his work, David was truly one of the nicest, friendliest individuals you could ever meet. Whether talking about the work he loved or his New York Yankees David was always a pleasure to be with. JonesTrading  has lost a friend and a true professional. Our firm will miss all those traits. However in comparison to the loss to his family, this pales into insignificance. Anything that you can do to help David’s family will be much appreciated in this difficult time.
