Hi Friends,

As some of you know, David Walker, a longtime swim official and MRA swim parent, recently suffered a heart attack and had three stents put in. David has spent countless hours on the pool deck volunteering as an official the past 10 years. He is always ready with a smile and words of encouragement. He is at home recovering and will be off work at least a month, and possibly longer. Unfortunately, disability only pays partial and does not start for a period of time. Caroline is currently unable to work while she is caring for David. They are using David’s sick and vacation time to cover the cost of their health insurance but are under financial strain with medical expenses not covered by insurance. They have had so much hit them in the past year while still mourning the loss of their daughter, Cassie. Any money raised will help go towards medical expenses not covered by their insurance.
