David Vear Memorial Bench
Donation protected
Hi, on behalf of everyone associated with the Vear family, I thank you for taking time out of your day to visit this page.
On June 29th 2024 David Vear sadly passed away due to the long term effects of cancer. Defiant in the face of adversity, he surpassed all medical experts prognosis's, not once allowing this disease to get the better of him. Battling every step of the way, David exceeded all expectations, allowing him to witness his Son, Darren, marry his long time partner Amanda on what was a truly beautiful day. A genuine fighter.
David’s wife, Chris was the love of his life, he would do anything to make sure she was happy, safe, content and loved. There was however something else very close to David’s heart: The Enderby Social Club. As a member since 1985, David also sat on the committee board for a significant number of years, overseeing renovations, new additions, ensuring the clubs future, but most importantly making everyone feel welcome and a part of the Enderby Social Club family.
In memory of David, we plan to raise enough funds to install a memorial bench in dedication of all his hard work and efforts he put in over his life at Enderby Social Club. The bench once fully complete, will display a commemorative plaque in David’s name, allowing those who knew him, to take time and reflect on the memories they have. Any leftover funds will then be passed on to Cancer Research U.K. to aid them in their quest to beat Cancer.
Once again, thank you for taking time out to read this passage.
