It is with our deepest condolences to hear of the passing of Fenton resident David Turkowski, who recently lost his battle to stage IV colon cancer at the young age of 36 on Monday, April 16, 2018. The Sawyer team has been blessed to be a small part of this incredibly strong family. David left behind his two beautiful young daughters, Lily and Ally, and his brave wife Colette, who very unfortunately is in the midst of fighting her own battle with breast cancer.
We need to stand up as a community and come together to help this family. Colette and her daughters have lost their loved one, let's assure her of the overwhelming love and support of this community. Colette has had to step up and be the sole provider for her family. It's our turn to step up for her. Let's pull together and help with funeral expenses so Colette can focus on grieving her husband, consoling Lily and Ally, and focusing on her health and winning her own battle with breast cancer. As one can only imagine, supporting a family, while fighting for her own life should not be something she does alone.
All proceeds will go directly to Colette Turkowski to cover all funeral expenses and outstanding medical bills. If you'd like to opt out of GoFundMe, please consider financial support which can be dropped off at Sawyer Jewelers. A receipt of donation by Gem Charities in coordination with Sawyer Jewelers, is available upon request. Gem Charities by Sawyer Jewelers is a non-profit 501c(3) foundation.
