David Smith Needs Help with Hospital Bills

Hi, I am Toi Luu from the Tulsa Police Department in the 911 Center. I have been a coworker and a friend of David Smith, IT Systems Engineer II, since my days in the IT Department from 2015 to 2019.

I find David hard-working and committed to serving his customers. David works countless hours behind the scenes to ensure his programs, websites, and database are running. I admire his work ethic because he always finds ways to solve problems and is ready to help. He always provides services with a smile and a can-do attitude, without asking for any recognition or anything in return.

Lately, since 2018 he has had two strokes, five heart attacks, a kidney removal, and five surgeries to remove cancerous tumors. The hospital bills keep coming, but the insurance doesn't cover all expenses. He is currently $13,000 behind in all medical-related costs. To his credit, he has been making payments religiously whenever he can, but these bills never stop coming.

My goal is simple: raise $1,000 to help him with the hospital bills*. I would sincerely appreciate it if you could lend a helping hand to a coworker in need.

(*Please note: as of Friday, September 23, 2022, the campaign has reached our first milestone of raising over $1,000, so we increased the goal to $13,000 to be sure all of David's Saint Francis Hospital bills are paid for. I appreciate your understanding!)
