Hi, my name is Laura Shaw.

My siblings and I are raising money to help my father, David Shae. He has stage 4 lung cancer that has spread to the bones, known as bone metastasis bone cancer, which is terminal. A treatment plan for bone metastases focuses on managing pain, preventing fractures, and potentially slowing cancer progression.

Our father has always been a hardworking man and has been the main provider for his family. But now, with his health declining, he is unable to do so.

My dad is a contractor. He always helped other people, elderly people, and people who can't afford to fix their houses by buying materials himself. He's helped out with many organizations in his town and community. My dad is a very loving person and is always willing to help others but doesn't like to ask for help.

My stepmom is also unable to work right now as she just had three surgeries herself. So, with these kind donations, the money will be used for traveling back and forth to hospital visits 3 times a week and for household bills that are stacking up quickly. We want to relieve this stress for our father because he's still trying to do this all on his own and putting himself into debt.
