Hi, my name is Darren Hennessy, and I am fundraising for a great friend of mine, David Scully after he had a horrific two bones broken in his leg while playing a football match for his local club Montpelier FC.
People who no David know that football has been his life ever since he was a young child. David is known as (Scully) to all in the football world, and as a player, he spent his time playing league of Ireland for Bohemian fc, Finn Harps, Bray Wanderers Etc.
Scully has been playing his last few seasons at his local club Montpelier FC who play in the grangegorman in Dublin 7; he has also been running a soccer academy every Sunday in an inspire gym in Cabra, where he is a role model to all young kids who have there own dream of one day becoming the next Ronaldo or Messi.
Unfortunately, David s recent injury will leave him out of football for a year as he underwent a massive operation today, 5/09/22, which will require metal bars to be inserted into his leg from the knee down to the ankle. This type of injury will leave David out of work for at least a year as the rehabilitation will be very extensive. David Scully has been, over the years, a great supporter of raising funds for a lot of people in our area and out far and wide and today; we would like to raise some funds to help David and his wife and his young kid survive the months ahead with there Morgage and bills as David continues his rehabilitation.
