Hello, my name is David:

Like many other people I’ve been struggling to make ends meet and always worked when the opportunity is there. I assumed that I had an ingrown toenail and continued to work for 6 weeks, because I needed the money. This pain was a little different because my whole foot would go numb and was very cold to the touch. Even so, I continued to do my job. When the 6 weeks of work was done, I was determined to get my ingrown toenail fixed. I made an appointment and told the foot doctor of the numbness and coldness of the foot that shot up my leg. He would not extract the nail until and suggested I see a specialist. So the pain had been unbearable to the point that I couldn’t sleep anymore and definitely couldn’t work. God bless my sister and mother for they knew what I was enduring and finally just took me up to the hospital. I was asked if I was a diabetic a lot and I’d say no, not that I know of. Tests and more tests were run and for confirmation I was transported from Kenosha to Madison, WI. Immediately upon my arrival the doctor looked at my foot and tears came as she said “Dave we must amputate your foot”, I was stunned. A blood clot in my foot made this my only option. Not only being homeless, 46 years old and not a pot to piss in, I was saying goodbye to my left foot and lower leg. Immediately I think God gave me the courage to be positive and helped me through this horrible time in my life. Truly I am blessed to be here alive and still kicking, even if I have just one foot. God bless my family and mother most of all for being there for me no me. The other day my phone rang and when I answered it, they were asking how I was going to pay them $32,000 dollars. Before its all done and said, this easily could run me $50-$100,000. My situation is now urgent. A friend of mine suggested a Go Fund Me account on Facebook and I thought that it couldn’t hurt. So here I am asking for help, from people I do not know and thanking you from the bottom of my heart, people I do not know.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR KINDNESS AND GENEROSITY.

GOD BLESSES YOU! A Patient Named David.
