Hi, my name is Lisa! I've created this GoFundMe page for my brother David. I've been trying to do this on my own but now I'm reaching out... I need help. Dave has type 1 diabetes, has lost his eye sight and has been diagnosed with cancer. He moved back to Cali from Reno recently hoping to better his life and living situation and to get the medical attention he needs. I spent all day on Friday at the Social Security office, Medi-cal office, CalFresh and emergency general relief offices only to be told that he has to reapply for his SSDI, he has to wait 45 days for Medi-cal, they will recalculate his food stamp amount ( he gets $23 /mo now) and they will let him know in 10 days if he's approved for emergency funds. Dave has nothing right now... no money, no medical coverage for all his Dr appts., prescriptions

( including his insulin), no food and his phone is going to be shut off on the 25th. This breaks my heart . He's been knocked down so hard from the state and our government that all I do is cry because I tried and I failed. I don't want him to give up. Please help me. I love and need my brother. The money I raise will go to him to pay his bills, get his meds, get food and get him to his Dr appts. Thank you & GOD BLESS!
