David Randle Moyd Liver transplant

Due to end stage liver failure, MUSC called David Moyd (Randy)last Thursday Feb. 22, 2018 for immediate transplant surgery.  We were shocked at how quick this notification came but definitely realized how far into end stage he was.  Friday Feb. 23 at approximately 8:00AM the donor liver arrived and surgery began.  We are forever grateful to  the donor and their family.  Many prayers were provided and the surgery went very well.  David will remain in Charleston for the next 2.5 weeks at least for close proximity care and will need 24/7 care for the next 3 months.  He will be taking immunosuppressive medications for the life of the donor organ and will be under constant care of doctors both at MUSC and in Greenville.  The continuous expense for life will be astronomical.  If you can continue to pray we are so thankful.  If you can help monetarily we are grateful.  Blessings to you and yours.
