On August 15, 2020, our brother, David, experienced a medical emergency at home. Efforts to revive him were successful but, unfortunately, his brain was without oxygen for too long and his neurologic function was irreparably damaged. His passing has left a hole in all of our hearts that will never be filled.
David was special; anyone who has ever met him, knows that. His heart was bigger than the state of Texas and he opened it up to everyone he's ever met without hesitation. He was so kind and friendly and genuine, it would have been impossible to know him and not love him. Throughout the week, while he was in the hospital, an overwhelming amount of his friends have messaged us and every single one of them said the same thing "David is my best friend"… and he would have said the same thing about them.
His greatest joys in life were his two beautiful children, Grace and Eli. He truly loved being a dad and was so proud of his kids. He had recently become a grandpa and was looking forward to meeting his brand new grandson, Jackson. David was fiercely loyal and loved deeply. He always put his family and friends first and there is nothing he wouldn't have done for any of them. He was the kind of guy you could call when you needed something and he would be there… although, he would probably be 2 hours late! If you know Dave, you know what "Dave time" is :).
This campaign was set up in response to the many requests from those looking to help David's family. The money raised through this page will help alleviate the financial burden left by his sudden passing and will provide support to Grace and Eli going forward. Any amount will be so appreciated.
