My very close friend (and likely yours, too) and Brother from another Mother, David Plunkett, is going through some very hard times right now and he and his family really need our help.

David was scheduled for surgery on a torn shoulder this past month and during pre-op testing was admitted to the ER for extremely high blood pressure. Unfortunately, they were not able to go forward with the surgery and he wasn't able to receive the relief he so desperately needs to be able to go back to work.

The medical staff did more tests and discovered that not only is David Pre-Diabetic, but he recently had suffered a Heart Attack (that he played off thinking it was nothing), has Cardio-Vascular Heart Disease, and will need major surgery to correct this dire situation.

Leading up to all of this, David was diagnosed with skin cancer a few years ago. He has had surgery on his lip and most recently his right ear and is currently in recovery from that, but is still in a lot of pain and unable to work.

Our friends needs our help. David is looking at having at least 2 more surgeries in the next couple months and will not be able to go back to work after that for at least another 9 months.

David is one of the most generous, giving, and hard-working individuals that I've ever known and I'm proud to be able to call him brother. I know that if you're reading this there is a huge chance he's been there for you before or helped you in some way in the past and now it's time for us to be there for him and his awesome wife Barbara. She's in this with him and needs all the support that she can get as well.

Please help out if you can. David is one of the hardest working people that I know, and he just wants to get back to it. Anything at all would be greatly appreciated, and if you aren't in a place where you can offer a little financial assistance, then please pray for David, Barbara, and their Family.
