Help us give David Pardo Jr. a proper goodbye

David is a Son, a Father, a Brother, a Nephew, an Uncle, a Cousin, a Friend… an amazing Artist and Child of God. We all love him dearly. He left us suddenly and too soon. The morning of 2/3/2024 left us in shock. I didn’t want to believe it. None of us did. His mother is still hoping it’s not true.

No words can express the pain we are going through and will go through for a very long time. My parents, especially, will never be the same. While both my parents survived brain aneurysms and have been recovering positively, the pain of loosing their beloved son is unbearable for them both. A blow I wish I could take from them. Parents are not supposed to bury their children. But here they are.

David was a kid at heart. An imagination as limitless as the universe. His laugh was contagious and he was always so real, never pretense.

Unfortunately, my lil brother was silently fighting a battle only some of us understand. Those who do, cast no judgement. We find comfort in knowing David is now free. His pain is gone. His shame gone. His sorrow gone. His regret. Gone.

I am thankful that the God of my understanding is unconditional love and mercy. My brother is now safe in Gods presence. He’s free.

I am thankful for those who have reached out with kind words and prayers and dinner and visits for my family at this time. I can’t say thank you enough.
