David P. is in ICU from complications of Covid-19

Hi my name is Susie Arocha. On behalf of my brother-in-law David Patterson, and my sister Vickie Patterson, I would like to start this fundraiser for their medical, long-term care and immediate living expenses. David and Vickie have been together for 20 years and are in need of prayers from as many family members and friends as possible. They are a very compassionate and spiritual couple. They would give anything for anyone in need. David is a God loving, family man. He is most happy spending time with family and friends outdoors, near a fire pit just listening to his favorite music. We need to give them the help they need so Vickie can concentrate on being at Davids bedside, helping him recover from this illness, without the worries of how it will all work out for them during this trying time. David has exhausted all his paid time off from ABC Home and Commercial Services. He has been the sole provider for them. He will have a long healing recovery in front of him. Both David and Vickie contracted the virus on August 23rd. David went to the ER on Aug 30th and Sept 3rd, when he was finally admitted to St. David's Hospital. He had pneumonia with a low oxygen saturation level. Needless to say, he was in trouble with his breathing. This has progressed from him being treated with a BIPAP, to him being moved to ICU on Sept 15th . He is now currently on a Ventilator. David is in a battle with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome. The goal is to help his lungs recover and prevent other lung infections. His fight is on a day to day basis! Vickie also went to the ER on Sept 3rd and Sept 8th when she was admitted to Ascension Seton Hospital. She was having complications with her asthma which in turn brought her oxygen saturation to a low level. She battled her illness in the hospital for 5 days before she was released on the condition that she supplement her oxygen at home. She is recovering but it will take time and much needed rest. Vickie was able to see David on the evening of Sept 14th after being apart since Sept 3rd. He struggled talking but it did not stop him from saying "Hello Hunny Bun". He promised her he would fight and come home to her. This visit was the first and last time she was able to hear his voice before he was put on the ventilator later that evening. She has been at his bedside as much as her health allows her ever since. She is a strong woman who is fighting Davids battle right along with him, especially in prayer. This is a prayer she wrote and reads to him daily: Prayer for my husband, Eternal loving Father, The Kings of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Thank you for all your love towards David and myself! You have always showered us with your mercies despite our imperfections. I come today seeking your forgiveness of my sins. We are nothing without you. You said in your word that the prayers of sinners will not be rejected. Therefore forgive the sins of my husband and myself. Redeem us to yourself and wash us clean with your blood. The scriptures say, even before we call on you, that you know our heart desires. I come before you, for your supernatural healing over my husbands health. He is sick, I believe through your word, he can receive your healing. Lord Jesus, bless my husband with good health! Save him from the devil, take away all forms of illness gripping him today. Lord I believe in your Almighty Power! Your word "Worship the Lord your God and my blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away the sickness from among you"... Gracious Lord, I have worshiped you with all my heart and soul. I know you are the only true and perfect God. I pray that you fulfill your word over my husbands health. You are the giver of health and of all perfect things. Thank you gracious Father for answered prayers! Amen
