David Ortega's way to recovery.

These days, living in México City comes with it's own set of natural hardships. My precious mother, Gloria Moreira who is 84, has lived there her entire life. Now, as she is in the restful years of her life, she is taken care of by my older brother. In a very frightening and difficult turn of events, David Ortega has fallen ill. My brothers diagnosis of a brain tumor (right frontal soft intra-axial tumor with vasogenic type edema) was given after a series of seizures and unconsciousness that left him hospitalized and out of work for the foreseeable future. With no current income, piling medical bills and my mother's own fragility, I worry for their future.
 

I am asking for help from friends and strangers alike. Any amount of kindness you could show towards the situation my family has so harshly fallen upon would be appreciated. One American dollar is nearly twenty pesos.
