David O'Malley MTB Accident

On Nov 9th 2019 our mountain bike group visit a trail in Indiana, unfortunately moments before we completed the entire trail system our beloved friend and group member David O'Malley went over his handle bars hitting his head.
Dave always practices safe riding and he was wearing a helmet when the accident happen, unfortunately at times bad luck and conditions strike unexpectedly this time injuring our friend.
Valparaiso's first responders were amazing stabilizing our friend, he was airlifted to the University of Chicago Trauma Center were he is slowly recovering.
David suffered TBI (traumatic brain injury) and he will need rehabilitation and all of our help to recover quickly from this unfortunate accident.
We are asking for the help from all friends and MTB community to help our friend and his family to cover a small portion of the medical expenses.
