I've never done this before so I hope that I'm doing it correctly... I have a very good friend whose son was badly injured in an auto accident.  He was hit from behind by a young driver who was texting while driving.  He was in ICU for several days with a brain bleed, fractured sternum, shattered tibia, and a blood clot in his calf. 

He is now home recovering from surgery, but he is struggling financially to make ends meet and cover medical costs.  He didn't have any medical insurance and his medications alone cost $200 per week.  There is a lawsuit against the young driver's insurance company but that takes time and his needs are great right now. 

This is an awesome family that I've known for 20+ years and they're really struggling trying to cover all the expenses for care that he needs right now in addition to just normal living expenses since he will be out of work for an extended period.

Please help if you can... every little bit helps no matter how small.
