David Needs Our Help After His Accident
Donation protected
David LaFace (Lado) is my brother, and life took an unexpected turn on Sunday morning when David fell off a roof while working. In an instant, his life changed drastically. The fall left him with serious injuries, requiring him to be in a wheelchair for the next three to four months. This sudden shift has affected his physical mobility and placed an immense financial burden on him. As a self-employed worker, David does not have the safety net of paid leave or benefits, and without his ability to work, the bills will be piling up. Despite the challenges he faces, David remains resilient and optimistic. He is determined to regain his strength and mobility, return to the work he loves,
and continue being the supportive brother, friend, and community member he has always been. However, the road to recovery will not be easy, and he needs our help. We are launching this GoFundMe campaign to support David during this difficult time. The funds raised will go towards medical bills, rehabilitation, and everyday expenses while he cannot work. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant impact on his journey to recovery and will help alleviate some of the financial stress he faces. David has always been there for others; now it’s our turn to be there for him. Let’s show him the love and support he has given so freely throughout his life. Together, we can help David get back on his feet literally and figuratively. Thank you for considering supporting David during this challenging time. Your kindness means the world to him and will help him on his path to recovery. Let’s rally together and bring hope and healing to a truly deserving person.
The funds are being used for food, rent, companion care, medical expenses, and upgrades to the living environment to facilitate wheelchair access. We are almost a week post-accident, and David is adjusting to his current circumstances with a great attitude and a positive outlook. We are so grateful for the outpouring of generosity from both friends and family. We still have a ways to go, but we are confident we will reach our goal to help sustain David's progress.
