David Myhre Memorial Fund

David was a loving and dedicated husband, father and fan of the Vikings and Grateful Dead whose sudden loss has left everyone who knew him with a heartbreak that is impossible to describe. David passed away only 6½ days after his cancer diagnosis, leaving his family struggling to both understand this terrible loss and to make ends meet financially. The finances, at least, I hope we can help them with in this terrible time.

David was the primary bread-winner for the family, and the immediate and ongoing cost of covering rent will be a struggle – let alone the added costs of hospital bills and funeral services. Cancer treatments and nearly a week in the ICU are extremely costly, and the goal set here barely makes a dent in the medical debt that is to come. However, with your help, I hope to at least cover some of the immediate costs of funeral services and living expenses while those who lived with him (including his wonderful wife Patti, his daughters Sylvia, Clara, and Lizzie, their partners, and his 3 year-old granddaughter Althea) all find a way to move forward without the support and love David gave daily.
