On Monday, December 22nd, 2025, David MURRAY suddenly and unexpectedly passed away at home. It is with heavy hearts that we are coming together to support his wife Katie and his two young daughters, Ella and Emily.

David was a caring and fun-loving husband and father who had a gigantic heart. David was an active member of the Toronto Police Service since December 20th, 2000, having worked in various units including 31 Division, 12 Division, Gun and Gang Task Force - Major Project Section and the Drug Squad - Majors. David, also known to his colleagues as Murmur, had a big presence and his laughter filled the room. His gift for story telling was second to none.

This GoFundMe has been created to help ease some of the financial burden during this incredible difficult time. Contributions will help support Katie and their young family with financial needs, on going support and unexpected costs. This will allow them a chance to grieve and heal without added stress.
