David Moreno’s fight against Brain Cancer

My name is Brent Allen. This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write. Just before Christmas my sister Diane’s husband David was diagnosed with Glioblastoma and has been given 6 months to a year to live. He has had brain surgery and now has to begin chemotherapy and radiation. My sister recently retired due to a really bad case of Covid, so they are now living on a fixed income and have limited medical insurance and no life insurance. They do not have a working vehicle at the moment and have to depend on family, uber or dial a ride to get to David’s appointments.

Diane and David are high school sweethearts and have been married since I can remember. They had three children and raised a granddaughter after they lost their oldest daughter, to Lupus at a very young age. It breaks my heart to see my sister and her family suffer this much I can’t even imagine the pain they have endured. I pray that the Lord strengthens them during this time of unbearable grief. Please pray that God may surround my family with your love peace and strength.
