It’s with a heavy heart that we share the news of our dad’s passing. Our dad was so much more than just a parent he was our bestfriend who could make us laugh even in the darkest of times. With his quick wit and sarcastic, sometimes twisted sense of humour, he always knew how to lift the mood and remind us not to take life too seriously.

That’s what makes this so hard to accept. Everything that made him who he was was taken away so quickly. His illness progressed rapidly and he was changing day by day. He only went to the doctor because he thought he had a stomach bug on the 10th July, then less than a week later, our dad was diagnosed with stage four cancer which had already spread around his body. Then within a matter of weeks his illness had completely taken over. None of us were prepared for how quickly everything changed, and losing him so suddenly has left us completely devastated.

Now, on top of the emotional pain, we’re facing the financial strain of arranging his funeral. Unfortunately, these costs have fallen on the small family he leaves behind, and it’s more than we can manage on our own. We want nothing more than to give our dad the send of he truly deserves however we cannot do this alone. We ask for any support you can give during this unimaginable time. Every single donation, no matter the size, will go directly towards helping us lay our dad to rest and honouring his memory the way he deserves.
